It will take just one generation choosing peaceful, respectful parenting to change the world for all future generations. This is our time. Our chance to change the world.

OUR VISION
To ensure that student mental health and wellbeing is support by the whole school community so young people are given every opportunity to thrive.
OUR MISSION
To support schools to engage, educate and empower parents with wellbeing knowledge so they have the tools to deal with challenges of raising happy, resilient young people and the ability to notice the early signs in their child before a problem develops. Our aim is to be the fence at the top of the cliff rather than thousands of trampolines required at the bottom.
OUR STORY
We started SchoolTV because we believe that parents, as the first educators, play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the wellbeing of their child.
SchoolTV was brought to life at a parent information evening in 2015, hosted by leading youth psychologist Dr Michael Carr-Gregg. The room was full with standing room only and the information presented clearly resonated with parents. We felt very fortunate to have been provided with this experience, but it had us thinking about how challenging it must be for schools with limited resources and those in a remote or regional areas to access important wellbeing information for their parents.
SchoolTV was founded on the belief that equity is at the heart of wellbeing. We thought long and hard about how we could make this information more accessible for parents across Australia. The concept for an online platform was developed, one that brings together the worlds leading experts on topics relating to raising happy well-adjusted young people. Our aim is to be the trusted source of student wellbeing information for a school and their parent community.
SchoolTV a self funded social enterprise. We have recently established a foundation with a goal to secure funding to ensure more schools, families and students in need have access to this important resource.
SchoolTV aims to contribute to societal change by focusing on engaging parents in wellbeing. We must be the change we wish to see in our children and the world.
